About Us

Wesley Perkins

Wesley graduated with a Finance degree from U.L.L.  He has the series 7, 66, and Life and Health Licenses.  As co-founder of World Tree Financial, Wesley brings a long history and understanding of the financial services business.  Wesley began his career as a teller at Chase Bank.  He worked his way up and became a top producing Financial Advisor for one of the largest Wall Street firms in the world his first year in production and remained a top producer every year that he was there. For the past eight years Wesley has specialized in investments learning how to bring his knowledge from a Wall Street firm to Main Street.  In addition, Wesley has learned from both his mistakes and his successes and feels well equipped to lead WTF onward.

Priscilla Gilmore

Priscilla graduated with a Finance degree from U.L.L. As co-founder she brings extensive knowledge and know how to our company.  She also began her career as a teller with Chase Bank and quickly became a bright, motivated Personal Banker and began working her way up the ranks.  Priscilla was ranked as a National Achiever for 6 continuous years and her last year as a Banker, she earned a status in the presidential club finishing the year as number 1 in the state and number 34 in the nation.  As a top banker, Priscilla came to understand her client’s entire financial situation.  She learned a great deal about financial planning from all angles and her clients benefit from this thorough understanding of banking and investing. 


Our mission is clear: the enhancement of our clients’ financial lives.  We understand that each client has many options when it comes to choosing between financial advisors and investment opportunities, and therefore we believe that in making financial decisions it is helpful to have a disciplined and objective partner who delivers advice based solely on an intimate understanding of one’s needs and objectives.  We believe that we can be that partner, making our clients’ financial lives easier and allowing our clients the freedom to live their lives as they choose.


One factor that drove us to go with the RIA annual fee-based platform is that clients are increasingly looking to their financial advisors for help with complex needs.  Just as these clients are calling for broader, more sophisticated solutions, advisors are often finding themselves constrained by restrictive corporate policies.  Frustrated by conflicts, scandals and a product-centric business model, an increasing number of financial advisors are leaving wirehouses for independence.  By choosing the RIA Platform we were able to improve service and operate a business model that encourages us to deliver sound advice with a client focus.
